A 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook San Francisco this morning at 7:47, according to the U.S. Geological Survery. The quake originated off the coast of Northern California; people reported shaking from San Francsico to Daly City. A preliminary report by the USGS had the quake at 3.5.
The earthquake’s epicenter was 3 miles from the San Francisco Zoo and 8 miles from City Hall.
The USGS reported a smaller quake at 10:07 a.m. registering 2.1 at the same location.
KTVU is reporting no injuries or damage so far. As a regular procedure following an earthquake, BART began checking the tracks for damage.
