San Francisco’s Emergency Operations Center, a multi-department response to the coronavirus pandemic, has been expanded and moved to Moscone Convention Center. On Thursday morning, city officials gave a press conference about responding to COVID-19 and reviewed the stipulations of the current shelter-in-place order. Listen to the full news conference below.

“In coordination with the Mayor’s declaration of emergency, we surged our emergency operations center with emergency managers and disaster service workers from across the city and city departments to accelerate our advance planning and operations. We are now at our highest level possible. We have dedicated so many San Francisco government employees to this effort that we have had to relocate here to Moscone Convention Center south.” — Mary Ellen Carroll, executive director of the Department of Emergency Management
