Corrections Policy

The San Francisco Public Press strives for a high degree of accuracy in reporting. If we find out about a factual error in one of our published stories, we update the story and add a note that the story has been corrected. It is our policy to state the correct information and note what details were changed in the story without restating the original error to avoid confusion. Note that stories are corrected to reflect the state of affairs at the time of publication, not to reflect future changes pertaining to ongoing events. Only demonstrable errors of fact are corrected, however occasionally we add clarifications and updates as well.

Please see our fact-checking policy for additional details.
