SF Public Press relaunch party!
Submitted by Kristine Magnuson on Thu, 10/15/2009 - 14:31
Come celebrate with us and support SF Public Press! We’ve got a lot to cheer about this fall:
- our redesigned Web site and new URL: www.sfpublicpress.org
- an exciting Bay Bridge investigative project in collaboration with McSweeney’s and Spot.us: www.spot.us/pitches/289
- the success of the City Budget Watchdog project and ongoing reporting on the ramifications of cutbacks in city government
- a new membership program that gives you a voice in how the Public Press covers San Francisco
Join us for a rollicking party, complete with entertainment, food and drinks at a.Muse Gallery in the Mission. Chat with our reporters and tell us what kinds of stories you’d like to see from the Public Press in coming months. We’ll offer chances to win gifts from local merchants.
- Date: Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009
- Time: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Place: a.Muse Gallery, 614 Alabama St., San Francisco
This is our major fundraising event for the year. Everyone is welcome — please invite your friends! There’s no minimum donation, but we hope you’ll consider becoming a founding member. Annual memberships start at $35. We’ll give commemorative printings of the City Budget Watchdog series to the first 30 people who become founding members on Oct. 22.
RSVP here. We appreciate your response so that we can plan accordingly.
